Evading allergens has been a real issue for my family.  It’s no fun having allergies, especially dust allergies, so for my daughter’s sake I had to find a better method than having her stuck on allergy medication all year round.  Luckily I found the Iqair Healthpro Air Purifier.

As I write this review, I can tell you that my daughter had reduced her medicinal intake by about 75% .  Our doctor estimates that she could be completely off her allergy medication and no longer reliant on her asthma puffer within the next couple of months. Our home is not big, just a modest old house on our farm block, covering about 850 square feet.  The Iqair Healthpro covers up to one thousand square feet, but apparently works even more efficiently in smaller spaces.  So, we got lucky with this baby.

I had read many interesting articles about filtering the air using HEPA filters and I was delighted to see that this machine uses that technology.  Though it was expensive compared to some other air purifiers out there, our decision to buy was not based on price, but on the desperate need for our daughter to be able to breathe normally and start feeling human again.  Unless you have suffered severe allergies, it is hard to explain to a non-sufferer how horrible it can become after years of no relief, medication or not.  Her whole system seemed to be shutting down and she often complained of being exhausted and having so little energy.

The machine filters out all odorous, gaseous, dust and pollen filled air particles.  It was like doing the opposite of medication, not treating the symptoms of her allergies, but eliminating the cause of her allergies instead.  It is a gift from heaven to put it bluntly.

I donlt have a lot of  time to waste when cleaning as I run a buys farm and stables.  Our family is up at the crack of dawn, feeding our livestock and cleaning the stalls.  We have the greenhouse to deal with and getting the kids to the school bus stop on time, so I always have my eye out for things that can save time and particulatly when it comes to relatively mundane tasks such as keeping our home environment clean.

Why would I recommend the Iqair Healthpro air purifier? Well apart from its simple and attractive appearance, I found that its efficiency became apparent to us very quickly.  I found that I could move faster in the morning because I felt less tired. As we’d made no other changes in the way we went about each day, this acted as a surefire sign to us that our air purifier was doing its job.  However, all you really need to do is  check out the product  specs as they really speak volumes:

I probably would have liked to buy a  higher-end version, but the simple fact is that I’m made of money.  Ranking ranking it from the top of the five air purifiers that we tested, the Iqair Healthpro air purifier rates for me as number three. This comes down solely to the fact that only the air moves slower than with the other top two models, which means that the air isn’t getting processed as quickly.

The reason why the Iqair Healthpro initially caught our eye was because it used an advanced filtration system to filter out the particulate and molecular particles in the air. There are four different filters, with the first one working on removing the micro-particles of pollen, mold spores, or pet dander. Another filter works on granular activated carbon absorption so odor causing items will be filtered out of the room. The third filtration technology is specially designed to destroy all harmful chemicals through an oxidation process. Most importantly, at least as far as allergy sufferers are concerned, is the HyperHEPA filtration system that efficiently removes bacteria, viruses, and even combustion smells from the air.

Sometimes certain particles in the air can have an adverse effect on a person, so it’s especially helpful if these items are removed so you can breathe without fear. This is the case if you have an Iqair Healthpro as it has 15 different controls which will take care of everything from mold spores and pet dander to dust mite allergens and wild fire smoke. This is vital for those who suffer from respiratory illnesses, asthma, or allergies.

In our research prior to purchasing the the Iqair Healthpro we did come across some user feedback citing troubles with technical service when they had an issue. Another made mention of their machine leaving a chemical smell. However, the majority of views tended to be positive which led to us purchasing the machine.
